I would like to express my distaste over the Ecko brand commercials featuring Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens currently airing on the Nickelodeon channels. To me and my fiance those ads are very distateful and provacative. Especially when the ads show Ms. Tisdale "booty dancing and grinding" while my 5 year old daughter watches Spongebob at 5pm. Personally I do not think that commercial is appropriate for a show that is geared towards impressionable young children. Thank you for your time.

Don't remember seeing this commercial... Got any evidence for judgment? On YouTube somewhere? Guess I'll go look for it myself.

That's ridiculous. She's doing nothing but dancing to a song and wearing sneakers. I can't stand when parents in Middle America try to pick apart every little thing that airs on television and dubs it offensive or too sexy. Jeez. :roll:
I've seen that commercial. I don't see anything offensive about it. She's just dancing.

All I know is that is not the type of commercial I want my five year old daughter to be watching. Like I said there is a time for commercials like those. Not at 5pm on Nickelodeon. But us as a country have become very apathetic. As far as Vanessa Hudgens and her nude photo I believe it was taken in private but maybe it was leaked by her to get press I dont know. But the commercial itself is on at a time when my daughter is watching a show geared towards kids not some pic posted online.

Maybe you shouldn't let your little brat watch the Spoongebob Rectangular Pants.
Its better than most of the trash they have on tv right now tho. Hell she usually just watches Jem and The Holograms , She-Ra and Thundercats.

I hate those High School Musical basturds more than anyone here, but come on now. There's been a lot worse commercials to pop up during the day.
And besides, it's 5:00, when most middle and high schoolers get outta school. That commercial was probably aimed at them. If this aired at say 9 or 10 am or something, then you might have a case.
