I've seen the preview to this movie a few times, and I must say I'm impressed. This could be worth seeing.

At first I thought the movie was animated like Beowolf. Now that I have seen more trailers I know it's live action.

And the recent Journey to the Center of the Earth would feature a Tyrannosaurus or something like that, for all those dinosaur lovers out there!

The 1959 movie was a lot of fun and the filming was beautiful, try not to take it too seriously.

I will always have a special place in my heart for the 1967 ABC Saturday morning cartoon version. It was one of the great cartoons of the 1960's and not just for the well written scripts but it was one of the better efforts from Filmation animation studios. Much more fluid motions from the characters with lots of scene transitions too. Btw, this was my moms favorite cartoon! Between Journey to the Center of the Earth and Fantastic Voyage I and my mom felt that ABC and Filmation in 1967 had struck solid gold!

I want to see this so bad. But only because of the 3D experience.

I enjoyed the original. I probably won't see this remake though unless it's on a flight between places.

Did anyone every play Starquake on the Commodore64? That game always reminded me of Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Yes, this is looking like a fun movie. I'm having too much fun surfing the web and reading all the advance chat about it. Thanks for the heads-up on this one!
