    Before anybody says it, Calvin and Hobbes. I got into that the same year the strip ended, but my brother and grandpa already loved it, the latter of which read it since the beginning.

                    Calvin and Hobbes and it's not even close. I have all the books, but they're in rough shape over how many times I've re-read them. Someday, I'll get the big all-in-one collection.

                    In fact, C&H has ruined comic strips for me. Everything else pales in comparison, I can barely muster the interest to the comic page anymore.
