It has been announced that this is the date for Jay Leno's final appearance as host of "The Tonight Show and on June 1 Conan O'Brien takes over the show.

eh, i liked conan better. but still im glad i got to see at least ONE of jay leno's shows live, AND with pamela anderson as the guest :) she wore see-thru that day

Good move..but Jimmy Fallon possibly filling in for Conan...bad move.. Fallon stinks.
I have nothing to compare to. I've never seen early Leno, and can only go by how he's been for the past five or six years. I find him funny, personally.
Conan taking over for him is a good choice, as he's entertaining as well.

They have been talking about Conan O'Brien taking it over for a few years now. While I like Conan I don't think it's going to be as good.
Jimmy Fallon is less funny than Carrot Top, he should not be allowed to host his own show.

The Tonight Show is a step up fpr him. It's the show Johnny Carson hosted, it's the real deal. His show just comes on afterwards, when many people go to bed.

I like Jay now....I hated him the first few years he took over for Johnny. I was a bigtime Johnny fan and switched over to Letterman for a few years. After a while, though, Letterman's same old antics get old. REAL old. Jay's opening monologue became really, really funny, and "Headlines" is hilarious. I like Conan, and think he'll do great, although I don't think it's a good idea to have him take over. His show is funny, but it's basically going to replace the Tonight Show. He'll act the same and have the same bits as he does in his current show. Jimmy Fallon, however, should do a good job. He's intelligent, has great comic intuition and should be a good replacement for Conan. I almost said he would be a horrible choice until I realized that I was confusing him with Chris Kattan.

Leno's punchlines are so predictable, though, you can see them coming from a mile away. Sometimes Conan comes up with something so ridiculous and out of left field that you can't help but crack up. :

How can you people think Conan is funny? He was up to about 4 years ago. He does the same thing over and over now, awkward with max, hey im dancing, keep cool my babies, and hair jokes.
I haven't watched his pile of shit show for almost a year now. HE'S 4th IN LATE NIGHT RATINGS!!!! Has been for about 9 months.
