I Can't believe Brian is dead, but i'm sure they'll bring him back some how.

I think it would be cool if four different versions of Brian show up, all claiming to be the real Brian. As an homage to Death of Superman. That would be a neat mind-bending kind of way to play with this and appeal to the pop culture "geek" fans.
But that's not what will happen. The whole thing just felt kind of cheap to me, as has the show overall for the past few years. I think it has really declined and this kind of shakeup doesn't make me want to watch more. But I can at least give them credit for not hyping this for weeks ahead of time like The Simpsons is doing with "a major character" going to die. (Did that even happen yet?)

Wow. I haven't watched a new episode of this show in years, so I was clueless this was going to happen. I'm a little sad to hear it. Brian was one of my favorite characters on the show.
He had some problems in his life, but he was a good dog at times.

I have a feeling Stewie will fix his time machine and save brian, maybe the new dog will take his place under the car.
Accepting Vinnie as the family dog will take some getting used to.

Prediction, Vinnie will be toast within the next 5 episodes.
What's the story on the driver who hit Brian? Did the Griffins press charges?
How can it be forgotten that it could be a possible effect from when they went to take the guns away from the indians? Maybe something happened some how that resulted some guy to get drunk and just recklessly speed down the streets of neighborhoods.

He'll be back within the next 30 episodes....
1 to 2 years...bold prediction.
I think he's going to be another Kenny in South Park. When he died, he only died for a season and then miraculously came back the next.

I've always liked Brian, such a smooth operator.
I didn't like how Brian was drinking, but I did like how he was intelligent and wise at times, especially during the scene in "Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater", where he broke Peter's cherished Star Wars glass. He may have been out of his mind to do that, but he did make a point. He was basically showing Peter that he was pretending to be something he wasn't.
Ain't it funny how I never expected to post anything about "Family Guy" again, lol!

It always grossed me out how Brian would hook up with human chicks.
Freaked me out how a cartoon dog spoke better than the rest of the characters.
I wonder how shocked people were when they first found out how humanlike Brian was.
He quickly became my favorite on the show, especially his conversations with Peter.
