They say as an adult, time to seems to fly by much faster. The years nowadays, as they happen, feel more like 6 months to me. That being said, the years seem much longer thinking back to them. Like for some reason, 2006 seems like a long time ago. I don't know why, but it does.

What do you guys think?

I definately feel like time passes on by. My kid will be 3 soon and it was just like yesterday i was childless. the years zoom by when you are older because you get to the point where you live weekend to weekend, paycheck to paycheck so you look forward to the end of the week and bam it here.

Actually, to me, 2006 feels almost like yesterday. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Yes, this is usually sadly true. Although some years seem so much longer than others in no particular order sometimes.

They go by faster when you get older because there are more memories to ponder upon behind you. I am 43 and each year seems to go by faster. The more to remember in the past the faster it seems to go.

Sadly, I have to agree with this. I feel like time flies now and that back in the day it went so slowly. Damn, now I feel old, LoL.

This I absolutely agree with, now I fully understand the lyrics to "time" by Pink Floyd

Yeah. I would like to say time flies when you're having fun and it gets slower when you don't, but that may not be true. School years definitely used to feel like an eternity, now they go by too fast.
