I like when it gets dark closer to 8:00 in the summer instead of 5:30 pm in the winter.
The later the better.
I think it'd rock if it got dark around 10 or 10:30 where I live.

I like longer days. Here it's dark by 5:00 in the winter and 10:00 in the summer.

I like it when it is dark early in the fall, and in the summer, dark at around 9pm.
I like it when it gets dark early, i can just come home from work at three and go to bed at five.

Just imagine if it started to get dark at like 3:00 pm, that'd be weird, but cool! :D
I hate it when it gets dark early. I get so depressed in the winter mostly because of that I think. In the summer it gets dark around 9:30 or 10:00, but in the winter it gets dark around 4:30 or 5:00pm and it sucks.
Now, it gets dark at around 7 ish and its only gonna get darker earlier. At least the time switch is earlier in the spring now. I think they do it in mid April now instead of mid March.

I never realized how different the sunrise and sunsets are in different places. Here during the 'winter solstice' it gets dark around 5:30 pm and during the 'summer solstice'(the longest daylight of the year) it gets dark around 8:45 pm. It would suck getting dark before 5 pm, but would be cool if it got dark closer to 10 pm in the summer. I guess I just don't know it any other way.
One drawback of daylight saving time is the kids (HS) have to go to school in the dark part of the year. The bus picks them up at 6:15 am and it's still pitch black out.
I find winter kind of depressing too, though I like it when a really cold front comes through especially close to Christmas. Though I couldn't deal with it for months on end like folks do up north.
Or dark for days on end like in Alaska.

Yea and every electronic device I have tries to change the time two weeks early as they were programed before the change.

I like it better when it gets dark later.
I like it when it gets dark earlier in the fall/winter because I like the look of the setting sun on trees with fall colors and drifts of snow.
