I find it interesting that the first two were tv movies and the third one is in theaters. Just wait until they really start to milk it with High School Musical 4.

i think that one will feature an ugly fat lead singer.
It is ALL TOTAL CRAP! All 3 of them and any spinoffs! High School Musical along with Hannah Montannah are Disney's biggest cash cows in history! It is all just a sign that Disney, as a company, is going downhill. Look at all of thier classic franchises like Mickey Mouse and Winnie The Pooh. They are not making any official merchandise, no new Direct-to-DVDs, no nothing! Disney does not care about anything else and does not need to! The same goes for thier movies like Cars and WALL-E. What kind of merchandise and promotion do they have for them? None!

mickewy and winnie are already selling themselves at disney stores, lands and worlds everywhere.

You're right! It HAS to be the last one because they graduate at the end.
This movie will either get generally postive reviews or mixed reviews. Seriously, why have one in theaters when it could just be on tv. You wouldn't have to pay to see it.

Never under-estimate these studio execs they ALWAYS find a way to suck a franchise dry to the bone. They'll probably be another one, maybe not soon but don't be suprised if you see HSM: The New Class (..or The Begining, or something) or HSM: The Animated Series, HSM: Japan!! (think F&F: Tokyo Drift) etc.
Be afraid...Be VERY afraid :( . Generation Y is taking over!...(*evil laugh*). For the record i've NEVER watched any HSM movies despite having a DVD lying around somewhere in the house. The nearest i've been are the trailers and it ends there.
