Crichton, the author of "Jurassic Park" and many other titles, has died at the age of 66. I found this out at the dead pool site I'm a part of.

That's pretty damn shitty, i read most of his books.
His books were the best. I love Jurassic Park.
RIP MIchael Crichton, you will be well remembered.

I read about this earlier. Actually, kinda surprised. I loved the Andromeda Strain. Damn good book and the original movie was amazing.
That stinks. :( And I just started reading Jurassic Park again last night. Wow!

he was a giant in the industry that will always be looked up to. r.i.p. Mr. crichton, we will forever enjoy what you have given us.
That's terrible. I loved "Jurassic Park". :(
It is very surprising, especially since this is the last season of ER. He created so many great stories. He was one of my favorite authors. I own most of his books.
I think he had brilliant,even groundbreaking,ideas. But overall he was a rather poor writer. His prose was too prosaic and lacked the spark that make great books. To quote his own writing: "He has what I call 'Thinktelligence'".
