One of the best live action kid's shows of our time. Personally, I'm more of an 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' kinda guy but lately I've been wanting to watch Goosebumps again. It's not on any TV station I have, and I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

Has the series been released on DVD? I've been trying to find it online. I know there are certain episodes on dvd but I want the whole series. All I can find is torrents of crappy VHS rips. I want to re-watch the series but with good quality.

AYAOTD was better than Goosebumps. Goosebumps was good but was a bit cheesey. They were both good. And I think there are certain episodes on DVD, but not a complete set.

Yeah AYAOTD was my favorite of the two but I just really feel like watching Goosebumps. I found 4 dvd rips online. That's it.

I enjoyed both shows but i was into goosebumps more.
Since the scholastic book order program at elementary school. We were encouraged to read & and all the boys read goosebumps. I'm sick of hearing the "harry potter got a whole generation to start reading" It's total BS.

I still have my 40 or so books, pogs, tradeing cars, and even a goosebumps umbrella.

it's real lame that the TV series is not being released by season or a massive box set. i'm not gonna pay like $12 for 2-3 episodes on a dvd.

I"m gonna get AYAOTD on DVD if I find it in store, beacuse online it's like $25 a season

I found a torrent with every episode in high quality. Here's the description:

"This is the complete Goosebumps series in the highest quality that I know of to be available. Most are TV-Caps from the Goosebumps Marathon, 2008 on Cartoon Network, some are Dvd-Rips, & some are High quality VHS-rips from mint retail VHS tapes."

I'm not going to post the link because it might be against forum rules (Is it?). I'll just say that it's on Demonoid.

I have pretty much the entire series recorded on Cartoon Network from 2007 and 2008. As cheesy as the show was, at least it was based on the books.

I watched a couple of episodes while they were on Fox. I have The Haunted Mask on VHS and also Stay Out Of The Basement. I remember watching episodes like The Cuckoo Clock of Doom, Night of the Living Dummy, The Girl Who Cried Monster, A Night in Terror Tower, Welcome to Camp Nightmare, and Attack of the Mutant (and I was surprised to see one of the cast members of Avonlea in the episode).

oh man I loved this show. The intro was so creepy. I have a bunch of the episodes that were released on VHS.

Someone I know was talking about how they like Goosebumps more than Are You Afraid of the Dark, which is okay. But their reason was:

"Because Are You Afraid of the dark is too child-friendly and Goosebumps is scarier."

That statement blew me away. I think the exact opposite of that. AYAOTD was way scarier than Goosebumps ever was. I always thought Goosebumps was the one aimed towards kids while AYAOTD was aimed towards a more youth audience. Thoughts?

They were both rated Y7 but yeah AYAOTD aimed towards a more youth audience.

That and when YTV had a "paranormal shows" Saturday night line up in the earily 2000's, I recall that Goosebumps came on earlier then AYAOTD.

Yeah, I think I remember watching Goosebumps at like 8:30 or 9, weeknights on YTV, then Saturday mornings on Fox.
