I REAAAAAAAAAAALLY love those dipping sauces that come with the chicken nuggets. Ill dip everything i order with them.

But I was wondering...if i ever started to collect those sauces and maybe pour em into those generic ketchup bottles, would it ever spoil like in a few days? or would it last about as long as a heinz ketchup? would i, god forbid, haave to refrigerate them?

Just keep them in their original containers and they should keep for a while.

And keep them refrigerated too just to make sure. Opening them will shorten the shelf life.

I love their honey mustard sause BTW.

I love them too, I find it funny you posted this, as I just had a chicken nugget meal last night from McDonald's, the day you posted this :D

I think it would work fine it those ketchup type bottles. However, yes you should refriderate them, even an open ketchup bottle you are suppose to refriderate after opening. I think it will go okay. I can only imagine though it will take a good few of those little dipping containers to fill one up!

I know this is kind of gross, but I used to just eat the honey mustard straight out of the packet. God, that was so delicious...

Good luck on your quest Knucks.

I keep a stockpile of various sauces in my car, since the snobs that work drive-thru usually don't offer any. I suppose you could keep them in ketchup bottles, but you'd have to refrigerate them since the packets are vacuum sealed.

If you keep them packaged right without opening them, those little packets and tubs will last you ages.

Also, Chicken nuggets from McDonalds are really delicious, but super bad for you.

The sweet & sour sauce from Mcdick's is delicious on almost anything. Any food that can accomodate a sauce is enhanced with this stuff.

Yes, but hey, at least they no longer make them with dark meat (even though I liked the dark too), white meat only now.

Yeah, that's a good point Chris, but from what I've read they're made out of old unusually large Hen's breasts, which is kind of sickening.

If you knew what the animals go through before being butchered, you'd probably have a hard time eating meat at almost any fast food place.

Oh I know, I remember Fast Food Nation does a good demonstration showing of this.

Though I guess we are straying a bit OT, the topic was of the sauce packs anyways... :)

Yea they were a chicken at one time or another :)

I get so pissed when they hand me the bag and don't ask if I want ketchup or sauce. So yes I keep a stock pile too.

Actually, I've even had them ask, and I tell them what kind, and I still find no sauce in the bag. So it is always good to keep those extras you get.

Me too. I try not to get too mad as I know working a drive-thu can be a nightmare. However when they don't ask at all and are rude on top of it I get pissed.

Wow. That has to be the best idea I have ever heard. That would be awesome. In my fridge on the shelf you got your mcdy's ketchup, bbq, sweet and sour, and honey mustard in bottles for all occasions. Good idea!
