I've been hitting up Big Lots over the past 2 months and my DVD collection has increased quite a bit:

I've found the Following:
King Kong (1933)
Empire Records
The Wild Bunch
Final Destination
Eddie and the Cruisers
Dr. No
For Your Eyes Only
Moonraker
Thunderball
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
The Spy Who Loved Me
The Man with the Golden Gun
The People Under the Stairs/Shocker 2 Pack
The Frighteners
Land of the Dead
An Evening with Kevin Smith
Dogtown and the Z-Boys
Darkman
Ringers (Lord of the Rings Documentary)
Lenard Part 6 (So bad I had to pick it up)
The City of Lost Children

All 3 bucks each! They had a mix of retro and new movies and I've also heard rumors of them now getting Blu-Ray and TV Box sets.

Any other great DVD finds from fellow Big Lot Shoppers?

I got quite a few decent deals like this at Wal Mart, in fact Igot all seven Nightmare on Elm Street movies there some time last year for $3.99 each, thats only $27.93 for the entire series... plus tax of course. Just compare that to the price you'd have to pay for the box set which was $115.99 at the cheapest that I could find, though I have found it much cheaper now it still doesn't come close to what I paid.

I don't know. I bought that NOES boxset for 25 bucks at my Sams Club. Then again, I have the weirdest Sams Club because its stock is changing all the time. My local blockbuster also has ridiculously cheap deals on stuff like framed movie posters. I got the Friday the 13th poster framed for 10 bucks.

      Oh yeah?

That's right, Big Lots has recently started selling DVD boxsets for only $6 each. I got Pinky and the Brain Volumes 1 & 2 for $12 total and I got Animaniacs Volume 2 for $6. Not only that, but I also got the Complete Series of the 1970s live-action Wonder Woman TV Show for only $6. It's such a great deal.

Wow, I didn't even know they sold movies. I haven't been there in awhile, I used to go all the time to go get those car models. But never remember seeing any movies, Pinky and the Brain i'm going right now.

I haven't seen any. The only cheapo place that sells DVD box sets is my local dollar general, but it's just SCTV & Heathcliff.

The only thing that I saw at Big Lots that I even remotely wanted was a SD Gundam DVD.

Oh and word to the wise, Dollar General has started selling Timmy The Tooth V.H.S. tapes.

I've been wanting one really bad for awhile.

Well I went up today and only found Pinky and the Brain Vol 2 and Cutey Honey (a live action fillm based on the anime). Still even if only one of the sets it's better then paying full price.

Well, the Big Lots store that I live has a lot of DVD boxsets of TV shows. They even has the Smallville Season 7 on Blu-Ray for $6. I believe Smallville Season 7 is the most recent season of Smallville to be released. I also bought a couple DVD sets that I already own for an extra ebay profit.

Well the local Big Lots did give me a 20% off coupon for a Sunday sale so I'll double check if they get anymore sets in this week.

I work at Big Lots, so I always get to go through all the DVD's before they get put out lol.

I've yet to hear or see anything about us getting any Blu-Rays though.

I went back there today and I got Popeye Volume 1: 1933-1938 for $3. They also had a couple DVD sets of 50 vintage movies for only $9. One set for comedy, adventure, and romance. Now that's an awesome collection there, can you say instant library?
