The Color Of Money
Release: December 15, 1986

Fast Eddie Felson (Paul Newman) has seen better days. Once one of the all-time pool greats, he now sells alcohol to various bars in the mid-West. He comes across a young pool player named Vincent Lauria (Tom Cruise). Taking Vincent and his girlfriend Carmen (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) away from fly-over country, Eddie trains Vincent on how to be a good pool hustler. Along the way, Eddie becomes re-energized back into what he once did. What happens? Find out for yourself in this, one of the finest sports dramas of the 80s, featuring a great performance by Paul Newman as Eddie Felson (He won his first competitive Oscar for this movie in 1987 after having been given an honorary Oscar the year before) and a wonderful soundtrack featuring Eric Clapton's hit "It's In The Way That You Use It".
