Sneak Previews
Debut: September 04, 1975
Ended: January 01, 1996

This long-running PBS movie reviews program started out under the name "Opening Soon At A Theater Near You". The first two hosts were Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert. Things were a little different in the early days. For example, instead of their thumbs, they rated movies with a yes or a no. Instead of the Stinker Of The Week with Aroma The Educated Skunk, a variety of mutts showed up for the Dog Of The Week. Siskel & Ebert joined "At The Movies" in 1982, and their position in the balcony was filled by, among others, Jeffrey Lyons, Neal Gabler and Michael Medved. Edited episodes were occasionally featured as specials during the short-lived "Ebert Presents: At The Movies"
