Years after Cornelius and Zira deaths, their son Caesar has been hidden in secret by circus owner Armando. Caesar and Armando visit the city to help promote the circus however Caesar notices the force labor that his fellow apes have to go through and drives him to provoke the local authorities. Caesar goes underground hiding among his enslaved brothers and now try to to overthrow the fascist government.
