ABC's remade version of "The Bugs Bunny Show" after ABC picked it back up. In the first year, the show was a half-hour and aired Sylvester & Tweety cartoons along with Bugs Bunny. The show expanded to an hour in 1988. The show survived the FCC's 1996 educational/informational television rule and aired during the first few years of Disney's "One Saturday Morning" block as the only non-Disney show on the block, as ABC was now under Disney's ownership. The show was reduced to a half-hour in 1999 and taken off the air in 2000 after Warner Bros. gave the shorts contracts to air only on sister company Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network.
