'Top of the Heap' was Fox's extremely short-lived spin-off of the network's firmly established sitcom 'Married with Children'. The show was created by 'Married' creator Ron Leavitt and 'Married' Producer Arther Silver. The show starred Joseph Bologna as Charlie Verducci and future 'Friends' star Matt LeBlanc as Vinnie Verducci, son of Charlie. The two men live in the slums of Chicago and struggle to get by in a similar vein as the Bundy's. Its pilot episode was the final episode of the fifth season of 'Married', and if you are a fan of 'Married' ' Heap' was good for a laugh but not nearly as entertaining as its predecessor.
