Pink Lady Monogatari: Eiko no Tenshi-tachi (ピンク・レディー物語 栄光の天使たち, "The Story of Pink Lady: Angels of Glory") is an anime series based on the real life-story of Pink Lady, a female pop duo that rose to Japanese music fame in the 70s. Despite the title, Pink Lady themselves, which consisted of Mie and Kei, wasn't involved in production due to finance and scheduling conflicts. It was animated by Toei Animation, produced by the duo's affiliated company T&C and aired on Tokyo 12 Channel from October 1978 to June 1979, lasting 35 episodes.
