Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2014 American superhero film based on the fictional superhero team of the same name. It is the fifth theatrical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and the first in the reboot series. When a new criminal syndicate attacks New York City, an unseen group of vigilantes come out of the sewers and attack the thieves. Reporter April O'Niel later learns that the four mysterious individuals are a group of mutated turtles that gained humanlike qualities and intelligence. Now she must prove to the world that the figures exist, and that they are out to save the city from the evil Shredder and his group of criminals.
