Soccer on ESPN is a number of programs that currently airs Association football matches in the United States. ESPN would sign with the North American Soccer League in 1981 and would broadcast its games exclusively. The first soccer game series ESPN aired was the 1986 FIFA World Cup and would air every edition of the World Cup in the USA from 1994-2014. In 1983 they picked up the Major Indoor Soccer League followed by the National Professional Soccer League in 1993. They aired the UEFA Champions League from 1995 to 2009 and the Premier League from 1996 to 1998 and then from 2010 to 2013. Since 2015 they have also broadcast Major League Soccer. They are also the American broadcaster of several international soccer leagues.
