It had been on the air weeknights since 1969 when Warren Davis was the original anchor for 1 year, then Lloyd Robertson anchored the program from 1970 to 1976, followed then by Peter Kent. Knowlton Nash anchored the program from 1978 to 1988, then Peter Mansbridge took over for 4 years until Alison Smtih became anchor. In 1995, Mansbridge has been anchoring the weeknight program since he began his 2nd stint, until his final broadcast for good on June 30, 2017.
