Set in 1930's Italy in a world where pilots, planes and airships rule the sky, we met the world's most famous pilot, Porco Rosso. He has been cursed and now dons the face of a pig. He has now become isolated and disillusioned with the world after his career as a pilot in the Italian Air Force during World War I. He has now become a bounty hunter protecting ships for money from pirates. Along the way he meets a talented young girl named Fio who is a mechanical genius. He also gets into a rivalry with an American pilot named Curtis along with trying to solve his romantic feelings with the local hotel owner Gina.
