An unknown octopus like lifeform is attacking people in the ocean around a small Florida town. It's up to a team of biologists, scientist and local law enforcement try to destroy the creature but they discover that there is just as big of threat on land with the local corporation having close ties to the monstrous creature itself. This was French, Italian and American produced directed by Lamberto Bava. The film also made an appearance on Mystery Science Theater 3000, Season 9 episode 911. The film is also known as Monster Shark, Devouring Waves, Red Ocean, Shark: Red on the Ocean and many more.
