Jim Henson presents two types of programs on one hour-long show. The first half hour is MuppeTelevision, which introduces new muppet characters; Digit, Bean Bunny, Ubu, Zondra, Leon, Lindy, and other new muppets to the more well-known muppets; Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzy Bear, Gonzo, and the rest of the whole Muppet Gang. The second Half hour is episodes of The StoryTeller, which the Storyteller (John Hurt) and his talking dog (Brian Henson) tell stories.

Kermit the Frog: "Hey, Bill Cosby."
Bill Cosby: "What are you doing here?"
Kermit the Frog: "Well, I am not here at all. I am on my way downtown to do my frog on the street interview. Asking the question of the day."
Bill Cosby: "Hey, do you have a question for me?"
Kermit the Frog: "It is not going to work. Like, Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street?"
Bill Cosby: "Yeah, that is dumb question."
Kermit the Frog: "Yeah, I told you it is not going to work."
