Anyways...What were/are some of your favorite ice cream goodies?

    Mine are..

    Col. Crunch...Strawberry and chocolate

    Brown mules

    Bomb pops

And when I was kid the ice cream man had a treat that looked like a watermelon slice...Watermelon ice cream...That was good

I recall there used to be this ice cream truck that drove through my town with Bugs Bunny, He-Man and other assorted cartoon characters painted on the sides. The last time I saw this truck was in the late 90's so by now the truck has been either scrapped or is decaying in a junkyard somewhere.

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE bar! Yum! But my family always had ice cream in the freezer so there wasn't really a need for the ice cream man often.

The icecream truck still comes by my house everyday in the summer, I can hear the bells.

When I first saw this post I thought it was going to be about Eddie Murphy.

Yeah the ice cream man still comes around where I live too. Of course I live in a desert so that may have something to do with it.
I'm only 22, but why does this place make me feel old?

I remember begging my mom for money as a kid for the Ice Cream Man. Then I would litteraly chase down the guy, and get my Popcicle. Good memories.

There used to be a HUGE green ice cream truck that came down the street where I used to live. It used to be a bus. It also sold toilet paper, diapers, and much more! LOL

the best ice cream novelty ever was called "bubble play" it was a cherry ice cream / ice baseball glove that had a bubblegum ball in the middle. I loved those things. They used to sell them in the store too. I think good humor made them. Has anyone seen these around anywhere lately?
*That's it! I'm so gonna be like Angela Bower...except with better clothes.*

The ice cream man doesn't really pass by where I live. When I do see one occsionally I always get some type of cartoon figure with the gumball eyes. Come to think of it, there's an ice cream man always standing outside the gates of my old elementary school.

In my first elementary school, this guy used to sell those Italian ices in those cheap paper cups (not the yellow one's; the ones you'd get at pizzerias during the early 90's, or maybe this was a NY thing?). From the trucks I'd always get Super Mario Bros., Ninja Turtles, Looney Toons or those shark ones. I still get the Turtle/Mario Bros. ones sometimes because they taste really good and it brings back memories

I have a thing against Mr. Softee now, though. About two years ago, he almost ran me over I HAD THE LIGHT!!!

When I'm back in the States and the ice cream man is out I usually get slushies. I have a thing for milkshakes and slushies and those granita things. So addictive ops:

Note: STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKES FROM MR. SOFTEE ARE AWESOME

And the sour Mega Warheads pops with the piece of sour candy for the mouth

And who can forget the Mickey Mouse pops...That's a classic too

Heck yeah!..It would be cool to be an ice cream man that carried stink bombs and stuff for the kids...Damn, I really do want an ice cream truck...Maybe one day it'll happen

The ice cream truck. When I would hear it, I would run to my parents and ask for money. If I would see it driving by, I would stop it and tell it to wait while I would run to the house and get money.

I think my favorite treat was the red, white, and blue bomb pop. I also liked getting the snow cone. There would be a jaw breaker at the bottom of the cup.

I still see and hear a truck coming by my neighborhood. I miss the old tune the trucks use to make. They changed it over here a few years ago.
