Ok, did any of the guys here actually like the "girl" cartoons? Myself i liked:
    Jem
    She-ra
    Wildfire
i also remember renting a rainbow brite video (mainly because i had rented all the other cartoon tapes) and enjoying it
For newer "girl" toons i enjoy:
    Powerpuff Girls
    Totally Spies
    Kim Possible

I can tell you right now, yes because I am a cartoon fanatic. I don't care who says it's aimed at girls, I'm going to watch it.

Plus, She-ra, The Powerpuff Girls, and Kim Possible have a lot of male fans.

I dont think PPG was aimed at girls at later seasons, the merch was but the show had so much content shared with Dexter's laboratory.

most of the girl shows i see are anime. the kind that feature really adorable and sometimes sexy ones

I watched Jem and She-Ra. But Sailor Moon isn't a girls show. It's an anime show with girls in it.

So i was raised mormon and my parents were really strict growing up. good to me, they gave me the best childhood a kid could ask for, but strict nonetheless. One day back in like 88 87 i was surfing through cartoons and a happend upon JEM. i started watching it and it was alright. nothing to special. but when my mother came in she said i had to change the channel and never to watch jem again. her reason was that the girls wore immodest clothing! lol It made me want to watch it more just because i wasnt supposed to but back then we had one of those (New) color tvs that had the two dials and no remote so it was really hard to switch up what i was watching with out being busted lol. I loved watching she ra tho lol

I never watched Jem but i watched She-Ra when i was 4 in 1986 on TV cause the Ads said that He-Man would do appereances, i not only watched it for He-Man and friends including Orko as guests and that badass Hordak character but i had a major crush on Adora with Glimmer, Catra, Frosta, Mermista and Peekablue. Oh man they were like young sexual fantasies for me at that age.

When i was 16 in 1998 i watched Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network since i was an anime fan at age 13 in 1995, oh man i was in masturbation heaven seeing lots of hot anime girls on the show including Sailor Venus, Sailor Mars, Sailor Pluto and Wicked/Black/Dark lady being my fave ladies on the show.

Wow, that must have been the last time someone mentioned Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders. Awesome bump. I so want to watch all of these now. Even the ones I missed. I only have Rainbow Brite and MLP currently in my collection.

I did like girl shows.. I liked some of the most girly of shows at that.

    Jem
    Sailor Moon
    My Little Pony
    Care Bears
    Rainbow Brite
    The Little Mermaid

But I think the amount of boy shows overpowered the girl ones.

    Jem
    Rainbow Brite

I was "forced" to watch them with my 2 older girl cousins ... but at the end I like the hair color/fashion statement of Jem and the vivid colors of RB.

I liked She-Ra, but I think a lot of He-Man fan only liked it because it was part of the same universe. I'm a little embarassed to admit it, but I liked My Little Pony and Rainbow Brite. Is that weird ?

Imo, anyone who prefered Grumpy Bear over all the other Care Bears should NEVER have a reason to be ashamed of saying they watched the Care Bears!
