I hated the nick jr shows too, but the reason I hated them was they interrupted REAL nickelodeon for 25% of the day. I wanted YCDTOTV, Out of control, danger mouse, and double dare, not maya the bee, eureekas castle, lil bits, and david the gnome.

David the Gnome. Don't know why, I just hated it.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one! And I thought of another one:

Pete and Pete. I guess I just couldn't get over how stupid people had to be to name both their kids Pete.

I may be in the minority with this but I couldn't stand Growing Pains and Full House. I suppose in some way I had an aversion to the Cameron children but I just hated both shows with an extreme passion. The only saving grace to Growing Pains was Boner and that is all. The Seaver family was so far removed from my reality that I couldn't relate to any of the shenanigans that happened. The same goes for Full House, although the nail in the coffin for me for that show was Kimmie Gibbler and Stephanie Tanner. Blech. Kimmie's whole presence was like nails on a chalkboard to me. And Stephanie, well I had visions of Donna Jo just pummeling her into next week. How rude...

    I hated Sailor Moon

I used to despise this show. My sister loved this show, but is somewhat natural for me to hate it since I am male. I could not believed I actually watched this with my sister (No old school cartoon tapes at my house at that time). One memory I would like to forget. The show is also very annoying and my brother hates it too.

However, the show I absolutley hated, SOUL TRAIN! That meant the end of my whole cartoon block when I was a wee one in the mid-80's! Every time I saw that darn train on screen I wanted to chuck things at the T.V

If anyone is to hate "Soul Train", start at 1993. That's when the show's conductor, Don Cornelius, decided to stop hosting and stay behind the scenes, so he can bring in guest stars trying to sound hip. Furthermore, the atmosphere among the dancers from that time seemed more forced versus the "let it all hang out" style from the seventies and eighties. It's kinda like someone backstage is cueing the dancers to applause after every song or announcement of a special guest.

    Just my humble opinion.

I pretty much hated any kind of youth/adolecent programing after 1993. I couldn't stand Tiny Toons or Animaniacs, which pretty much made me the antichrist in some people's eyes. I couldn't stand Barney and would have loved to see him go berserk and start acting like a REAL dinosaur, and speaking of which...wasn't real big on the show "Dinosaurs".

Now, there are shows I have changed my opinion on since I was a young'n:

Seinfeld...hated it, but that was because secretly I thought Jerry was cute (hey, I was 10!)

Twin Peaks (the theme was sad and creepy)

Various Soaps- because it meant I couldn't watch MY shows, because when I was a little kid my aunt was a teenager and we HAD to watch Luke and Laura.

WHAT?!?! How can you hate Soul Train?! Although I must admit it ain't the same without Don Cornelius, he was the king Shemar Moore was a hottie, but he doesn't belong at ST, he belongs back at Y&R

    I wasn't too thrilled with:

    1. David the Gnome
    2. Tale Spin (it was okay, but not great)
    3. Gummi Bears
    4. Seinfeld
    5. My So-Called Life (oh, how punk)
    6. Sabrina the Teenage Witch
    7. Are You Afraid of the Dark (a kiddie version of Tales from the Crypt)
    8. Sailor Moon (SUCKED!!)
    9. Growing Pains
    10. Family Ties (only saw the tail end a few times while waiting for another show)
    11. The Hanna-Barbera spin-offs (Tom and Jerry kids, A Pup Named Scooby Doo, etc.)
    12. Pokemon and all of its crappy knock offs

My Little Pony Tales. Cool intro song, but these ponies were nothing but bimbos, and the plot was tailored around their airheaded mistakes, misperceptions, and hurt feelings. The fact that My Little Pony's name was tacked onto these mundane multicolored dimwits was the biggest insult.

I almost forgot. I really hated a lot of the boy-oriented shows as a child (with very few exceptions like He-Man), and as far as they go, Transformers was always one of my least faves. Also, even for a science fiction show, X-Files was so lame, and all I could remember about that show while it was originally airing is, "Man, is that big-nosed guy UGLY"...
Garfield: "My car is so old, that it's insured against theft, flood, fire and dinosaur stampedes!"

Garfield: "The local bus transit is doing their part to help with the weight loss program: each year, they stop further and further away from the curb!

    I love you!!

Haha, just when I thought an annoying kiddie song couldn't get any worse, here comes Lamb Chop with her "song that never ends"!

You have no idea how much I smiled when Mr. Garrison from South Park chopped Lamb Chop off Shari Lewis' hand and put her on a barbecue grill!!

    Shari: No, Lamb Chop, no!!
Lamb Chop: Shari, help me! It burns!!

LOL...it was an annoying show, but Shari Lewis had some talent. RIP

For some reason, I could not take "Eureeka's Castle". I would always immediately switch to another channel or just turn the TV off when that came on!
