I remember this one quite vividly, though it ran early to mid 80s and I only saw it maybe once or twice. It's live action and shows two soda vending machines in a deserted area (rest stop maybe?), one Pepsi machine and a Coke machine (might have been generic and not Coca-Cola branded). The two soda machines transform into giant robots that bear a passing resemblance to Soundwave. They get ready to fight, and then change back when someone starts to walk up. The person buys a soda from the Pepsi machine, and it ends with the robot head popping up. Very cool looking. Anyone have it?

    No, but it sounds amazing!

I hope someone finds it to upload (hint!). Does anyone remember the one with the Alien from the Aliens series, I think it was a Coke commercial.

I only saw that one once but I'd love to see it again.

I know about the Transformers Car commercial.
I'm only 22, but why does this place make me feel old?

I've seen that too. This is just as cool, only much, much older, though.
