Oh, and please don't waste your money with Frankenberry or Count Chocula. I got a box of each when I saw them on sale at Save A Lot last month...I was thrilled and excited Then when I got home I poured a big bowl of CC, took one bite...I was very dissapointed. It didn't even taste like chocolate, it tasted like cardboard! Even the marshmallows were bland! So I decided to pour a big bowl of Frankenberry...same deal. Tasted awful, like licking the inside of a Skittles wrapper. All that good milk gone to waste I ended up taking the rest of the cereals and feeding it to the seagulls at the beach.

YOu bought retro cereal from SAVE A LOT and expected it to taste FRESH?

I'd SELL my soul for a pack of Bonkers and box of Ghostbusters cereal in the package, stale or not! It would be worth the risk of blindness or death!

ehe, yeah that might be a good idea. Any of my favorate foods don't taste so good when they come from a save alot or a sack and save. XD

Any one ever notice when cereals change taste? I mean they change the ingrediants and you pick up a box one day of a familiar cereal and its very different, though it doesnt say its a new flavor?
For me, captain crunch doesnt taste anything like it did when i was younger.

Yep, and I've also noticed that the boxes and cereal itself are a lot smaller than I remember. It's like that with most food items. Remember Keebler's Soft Batch...I adored these when I was 8 I got some not too long ago (from Farm Fresh, no worries!), paid a lot more than I did in the early 90s, and the damn cookie was literally smaller than a coaster, and it tasted like chewy graham crackers.

    **sorry to get off topic**

Yeah, I know what you mean, it seems like there is alot of air in the box that could have been filled with more food
