For those of you who have digital cable or upgraded dish and miss double dare and Nick arcade(love that show!) and the rest of the game shows(besides Think fast, hidden camera, and wild & crazy kids) you have Nick GAS. then, for Angry beavers, Rocko, Hey arnold, Rocket Power, ren & Stimpy and I might be forgetting some retro shows, you have Nicktoons. And what is the Nick rewind block?

The only Double Dare on GAS now is Double Dare 2000.

The old Nick was way better this is a waste of time we all know which is better. Old Nick is there is no creative shows with this New Nick it's stinks , it's horrible and it makes me mad. Especially that Teen Nick , Nick was a kid's dream in the late 80's to late 90's. Now it's just stupid and lame New Nick needs a show that catches the eye of the people who grew up watching it.

Yeah, I know. -_- All they show is a pattern of "Figure it Out," "Nickelodeon GUTS," "Double Dare 2000," "Legends of the Hidden Temple," with showings of "Nick Arcade," and "Finder's Keepers" sometime at three in the morning.

I liked Nick GAS better when they showed pretty much every Nick game show, plus "Salute Your Shorts."

I've had GAS on my digital cable since January of 2005. It was a lot better then.

Old Nick all the way! I miss Salute Your Shorts, Welcome Freshman, Hey Dude, Clarissa Explains It All and others. The game shows were awesome! I made me want to be on them. I stopped watching Nick in 1999.

Old Nick for real! The X's are wanna-be Incredibles, The Fairly Odd Parents were good for a while, until they used the same formula over and over. Catscratch could never measure up to Catdog, Spongebob is ok, Danny Phantom just needs to fall off, and everything on TeeNick needs to be replaced by SNICK. All of the old Nicktoons should be brought back.

I stopped paying attention to Nickelodeon sometime in the late 90s. All my faves were cancelled and I didn't like the new stuff.

I started watching it again briefly in 2002 because of Spongebob and sometimes Fairly OddParents on Sunday mornings.

But this crap they're doing now...man, it's just awful. TeenNick? Puh-lease. What is with all the kids' networks appealing to teenagers? Is it not okay to just be a kid anymore? At the age of 8 or 9, you have to start growing up? Is that the message they're trying to send, or is it just me getting all worked up?

I watched Nick in the 80s. The cartoons were so awesome. I loved to watch Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Spartkus (sp?) and the Sun Beneath the Sea, The Noozles, Littl' Bits, Maya the Bee, Mysterious Cities of Gold and David the Gnome. As for the cartoons Nick made themselves, don't even get me started. The Live-Actions shows kicked ass like YCDTOTV, Third Eye, Pinwheel, the original Double Dare, Today's Special, Turkey Television and more. I miss the old Nick at Nite too with shows like Car 54, Where Are You, I Love Lucy and others. Now it's nothing but freaking Roseanne and Fresh Prince (shows I don't even like) Unlike everyone else, I stopped watching Nick in the early 90s, about 1991. For some reason the shows my little brother likes just didn't appeal to me. But by then, I wasn't watching too much TV anyways. I was out more, getting into trouble (usually).

IMO Fairly OddParents ended the good Nick, Spongebob was last good cartoon on Nikc.

no contest, the old nickelodeon was the crown jewel of television for kids. the new nickelodeon is just a kick in the jewels.

the old nickelodeon was creative, origional, and in your face-a rebel. the new nickelodeon is nothing but a nerd trying to be hip.

the old nickelodeon was full of diversity and had everything you could possibly want. the new nickelodeon has a yellow sponge.

    old nickelodeon = "kids rule!"
new nickelodeon = "um...homework can be fun....."

Of course I'll never forget some of Nickelodeon's darker moments, but what I remember is that even back then people complained that Nickelodeon was being run by idiots. It really was the in house talent that made Nickelodeon shine between 1991-1998.

I've never actually got the station but when I think of Nickelodeon I think of green slime and crazy game shows. Do they still do that?
