    		 They were equally good, although I did like the Snorks a bit more. The characters had more character, if you will. But nothing can beat Gargarmel(sp?) , he was the best.

    		 I liked Smurfs for the simple reason that Snorks came out later and seemed to be "smurf clones"..

    		 Snorks were "hipper" than the Smurfs were.
    Smurfs were all about being happy and working together, while the Snorks had the teenage kid thing going on.

    		 I think I liked the Smurfs better but I think the Snorks have a catchy theme song. I agree that that Smurfs and Snorks are very similar.

    		 I was always a fan of the Smurfs back in the day. I'll catch the show flipping through the channels every once in long while.

    		 Seeing as how Smurfs = my very first cartoon (to my knowledge), I'll have to go with that. I loved that show, and will until the day I die and I don't care who knows it.

    As for the Snorks, I did like that, but I think I liked the theme song more than the show itself. lol

    I suppose that one would think that the Snorks' amphibious ability would give them an edge, but that won't matter with this fight. What WILL matter is the sexual frustration factor. The Snorks have about an even balance of males and females so are fairly "well adjusted" - but think about all those male smurfs who can't get any because, as everyone knows, Papa has dibs on Smurfette, and that Sassette is still too young. Why do you think the Smurfs are BLUE, for goodness sake?!?! It'll be Smurfs all the way as that frustration turns into violence. And poor Azrael better run.

    		 I'd say The Smurfs because i've actually gotten a chance to see that show on CN back in it's prime days. The snorks hasn't ever been played by CN it's only been played on Boomerang but has only been played on CNs Boomerang block on days that they were showing cartoons from 1984 and I don't get Boomerang so I never even get a chance to see The Snorks.
