Anyone remember the different kids toothpaste commercials? Colgate junior had the tubes where the toothpaste that would come out in a star shape. Crest Sparkle had these singing guys http://www.jsmconcepts.com/art/CREST/Crest_Sparkle.jpg

I could have sworn I saw some long commercial with these Crst characaters and kids singing "The Name Game", but maybe my memory is mixed up.

What I liked a lot was those red pills the dentist gave me as a kid. You would chew them and it would stain your teeth. It would teach you how to brush your teeth well.

Are you talking about those Crest sparkle guys? If so, I remember a commercial, that I have on a tape from about 1990, when they sang a song to the tune of "Locomotion".

I remember thoes pills that stained teeth. I got a package in first grade. We had the cherry flavor.

BTW, thanks for linking that picture.

All I can remember is that "sup..sup..sup..superstar!" commercial for Colgate Junior.

And that they used to have a send away for Crest figurines of the characters you spoke of.

I remember those Crest guys even had their own 1-900 number. I liked Colgate junior I use to sing the song too. It tased pretty good too. I also really like Hello Kitty toothpaste not the new kind, but the old kind you could get at the Sanrio stores and they came in a little red tube. My cousin would tell me I was spending too much on it.

I had a red sparkly tooth paste and I told my friends that it was tooth paste and candy at the same time. They were all jealous. Hey, it was good though. I don't remember the star shaped kind, sounds cool.
Could I be read if I were see-through or would you just read my spine?

I'm happy to see I'm not the only who took a taste out of the old toothpaste once in a while.
