    		 The humans on Sesame Street were not as exciting as the muppets. But I know they had a subconscious impact on me. "Maria"'s goal of providing multicultural exposure definitely worked on me. Good for her for retiring after a long and fruitful career.

    		 So if Maria leaves the show then what about her husband Luis? Will he stay on the show or will he leave too? I haven't watched the show in so long so I'm just wondering if they still show characters like her daughter Gabriella. I remember watching an episode where Gabi and Miles were graduating. I remember watching a Christmas special on DVD with my niece and this one was really old it was from about 1978 and the people in it were so young even Maria. I wonder how they will have her leave the show. Will she just leave for some reason or another?
