Guy incognito and xspiraldancerx, feel free to upload them to RJ if you haven't already.

love your avatars by the way.

I soo would've uploaded what I have, but I have no idea how

Plus the tape isn't in the best of condition. My brothers and I have watched the one 80's cartoon tape so many times that it skips and the sound is bad.

*sigh*...it seems the intro to ABC Weekend Specials has never been recorded from tv, or released in any format. I must continue my search. Maybe ABC themselves has a tape they could send me...

We used to have a whole bunch of tapes with stuff from the 80's recorded on them. One in particular I remember was "Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown" recorded off KCOP with TONS of commercials! One day my mom told me to clean out the entertainment center. I was about 14 or 15 at the time and wasn't very nostalgic then, so I just went and threw stuff out. To this day I get sick every time I think about throwing those old tapes out.

However, one tape did survive The Great Tape Raid of '95 and it had Superman (recorded off KCBS-TV, no commercials though), Superman II (It was an ABC Sunday Night Movie, again whoever recorded it skipped the commercials), and Circus of the Stars from 1986 with ALL of the commercials in tact

The commercials on the tape were for:
    Vix Formula 44
    Citrus Hill Select orange juice
    Tide
    Vidal Sassoon
2 WTOL Toledo 11 news breaks
    The ORIGINAL Folgers Christmas commercial
    Another Folgers commercial
    Pantene (featuring Kelly LeBrock)
    Tide
    Coast
A CBS promo with Simon & Simon, Designing Women, and Knots Landing
Pringles Butter 'N Herb potato chips

and more that I can't remember at the moment. Like others I would be happy to upload them but I have no idea as to what kind of equipment to do so.

    Srbar,

Do you have the Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors DVD (it only has four episodes), I found it in a drug store of all places.

Normally, I hold off buying a series unless all of its availble as a boxed set but I LOVED this show.

Hopefully with other DIC classics like Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, and C.O.P.S. getting released they'll also do Jayce and MASK as well.

    Stuff I taped:

    -The WCW All-Nighter specials ('94 & '95)
-Clash of the Champions XXI to the last one.
-The "Spectacular" specials the WWF would show before PPVs.
    -Wrestling PPVs. Still do this.

And non-wrestling stuff my parents taped when I was a kid:

    Follow That Bird off HBO
    Mother Goose Rock & Rhyme
    Big Bird in Japan
The Alice in Wonderland TV movie
    TMNT cartoons

Here's a funny story about my tapes. When I was younger, I would always pause the VCR during commercials, then resume recording when the show came back on. If you hit the button at just the right time, you can get a pretty seamless edit. Now when I go back and watch my tapes, I think, "dammit, why did I take those great commercials out?"

Thanks for the info I checked it out and holy moly they're expensive, lol. I may have to wait a while on this one. But once I do get the opportunity to purchase it, I'll be uploading what little nostalgic goodies I have onto this site
