I knew I'd have to come back to this eventually, but at least a few of the new additions are not horrible. And, as usual, the 3DS will be scarce until Pokémon.
For the week of December 24, 2015, nothing. Yeah, the year of the NX is definitely drawing close as the eShop Virtual Console actually manages to bring forth nothing new after a week's wait. Wii U fans will only begin to hate Nintendo more and more.
For the week of December 31, 2015, a surprise; an addition to a console we all thought died out a few months back.
1080° Snowboarding (Release Date: March 31, 199

For the week of January 7, 2016, the NES Virtual Console is resurrected after a long absence of titles and makes way with a slew of new ones; almost all related to light gun games. Perhaps, to promote Duck Hunt from Super Smash Bros. Again. Since he used all of those characters in his moveset.
The Adventures of Bayou Billy (Release Date: June 16, 1989)

Hogan's Alley (Release Date: October 18, 1985)

Wild Gunman (Release Date: October 18, 1985)

For the week of January 14, 2016, a very solid release; one that everybody was waiting for.
Metroid: Zero Mission (Release Date: February 9, 2004)

For the week of January 21, 2016, a very unexpected release. One by Square-Enix, perhaps hinting of future Final Fantasy titles to hit the store in the near future. They're certainly showing their positive side to Nintendo after years of neglect.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (Release Date: September 8, 2003)

For the week of February 4, 2016, disappointment.
For the week of February 11, 2016, a slew of releases; very unusual for Nintendo. However, they're all themed again, this time in the puzzle genre.
Polarium Advance (Release Date: November 17, 2006)

Kuru Kuru Kururin (Release Date: February 11, 2016)

Actually, this one is a unique release in that it's the first time North America has ever seen it. Only Japan and PAL regions ever got to play it. The only way you would know of this guy is if you played Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Big Brain Academy (Release Date: June 5, 2006)
