I remember watching this show once followed by nearly 4 weeks of no sleep at all. Did the show give you the creeps as well?

I always found the theme to be gentle for a sci-fi/mystery series. That's the way I remember it.

lol i would watch it and then a few hours regret it cause my house was haunted, so on top of that the theme song creeped so i would be a chicken.

I can see how the X-files theme might've been a little creepy if you were a kid, but even so it's nothing compared to Tales from the Darkside.

Try watching this intro all by yourself, with the lights off, and you're 8 years old!

Of course, as an adult, we're usually completely desensitized to this stuff. These things come across as fairly tame.

It was kind of creepy, but it did not scare me, I actually liked it.

Nah, not really. I never watched the show growing up. It just seemed too weird and out there for me but the song was great. The Goosebumps intro was creepier than the X-Files music in my opinion.

If anything, I was creeped out by the intros to Are You Afraid of the Dark and Tales from the Crypt.

Nah, I actually really liked it and thought it was cool.

The original theme to The Twilight Zone however, now that scared me.

AWE COME ON! No! i remember this intro while laying on the couch at night when i was a tyke! It wasn't scary.

However, if there's one thing not to watch in prime-time, it's Pillsbury, Power of Cheese and Got Milk? commercials. The endings to all three brands/campaigns' ads frigthened me. Others- take it or leave it.

    Nope.
Yeah, it's Yuuki. Got a problem with that?

Did the X-files theme song scare you when you were little?

"Materia Primoris: The X-Files Theme (Main Title)" never really bothered me. I found it to be an engaging, intriguing, ethereal piece. Maybe it didn't bother me because I watched The X-Files as a teenager.

I did however find the "Unsolved Mysteries Title Theme" from Unsolved Mysteries to be eerie and unsettling. Even now it is eerie and unsettling.

So true! I get a chill even now when I hear the Unsolved Mysteries Theme...along with Robert Stack's voice! LOL

No! I actually enjoyed the show, even though I was 4 when it premiered. My neighbor watched it alot, so that's how I got to see it.
