John Edward had his show crossing Over at the end of the 90's and Beyond With James Van Praagh started at the beginning of 2000's. Both of those men had been on on numerous talk show and variety shows before hand so your commercial could also had very well been a promo for one of those shows they appeared on. Just a guess anyway.

Unfortunately it wasn't either of these guys. I've looked up a lot of "famous psychic" lists, and this guy hasn't been on any of them. I haven't seen a trace of this guy since the mid-late 90's. I have looked up a lot of the current psychics who have been featured in popular media in the past decade or so and none of them are the same guy. Thanks though!

The only other one I could think of was Dionne Warwick’s number.

No, but I do remember Miss Cleo very well.

In the 1990's, psychic hotlines were pretty popular. You'd see an advertisement for a psychic online, and there'd be a number you could call to get a reading at some absurd per-minute price. Miss Cleo is probably the best example of this.

There was another advert I remember seeing in the 90's though of another psychic. Here's what I can remember about this commercial:
    - it was a white male; he was middle-aged. I think that he was blonde, but I'm not positive on this.
    - the commercial had really creepy, ominous background music that played. It was slow and entrancing.
    - I could be wrong on this, but I seem to recall the commercial showing him walking up and down a flight of stairs with a studio audience nearby. It sort of reminded me of the talk shows that were really popular, when a special guest would come in from behind the audience (instead of from behind the stage itself). I'm not positive that this was part of the commercial though.
    - I do remember that he had a really creepy smile. I seem to recall him also being dressed in mystical clothing.
    - I only remember seeing this air very late at night in the mid-90's.

Does this ring any bells to anyone?! I'm desperately trying to find out what this psychic's name was. I really want to see this commercial again!
