The only reason I can think of anyone defending these individuals is if they were guilty of the same crimes... Why do you keep down playing the severity of these men's crimes?

And do you think Victor Salva (Writer-director of cult horror faves like Clownhouse, Nature of the beast and Jeepers Creepers to the excellent underrated 1995 Sci-fi fantasy Powder) is worse than Jones?

Here's the story behind that writer-director:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Salva

What he did was beyond wrong but i still enjoy Clownhouse and Powder (saw it 2 times in theaters) and Nature of the Beast for i grew up with those movies, i even still enjoy Jeepers Creepers for it is one of my fave horror movies of the last decade. He's a decent director but a rotten human being.

Who else thought Jones was hilarious in Beetlejuice?, oh yes he was in Stuart Little as the uncle as he did a terrific performance in it.

Who also liked his performance as Dr. Jennings in Howard The Duck? i remembered seeing that movie when i was 4 2 times in theaters and liked it, Jones made a creepy Cobra Commander voiced villain in it. He even used that voice on one episode of Tales from The Crypt.

wow it sucks to know that this Salva guy raped a kid went to jail for 15 months and can still get a better job and make more money than any of us on this site will probably ever see, its things like this that really make me wonder just how big of a shithole this world we live in can become.

Just watch Clownhouse and you will have a peek into a pedo's psyche.

He has been in some great movies but none were great because of him. I don't see any reason to celebrate this guy.

I really wish people wouldn't condemn a talented person's films and TV shows or music just because they did something in their private life...

Nobody here said that they hate Beetlejuice simply because Jeffrey Jones is in it, they are saying that he is a creepy old dirtbag.

And "doing something" in your private life no longer counts as private when you "do something" to a minor. If he had been caught pissing in a back alley or owed money to the IRS that's one thing, but he didn't; he hired a 14 year-old boy for nude photos on several occasions. Since that time he has also been in trouble for not keeping his sex offender status up to date, which tells me that he would like to bury his past so he can move on to a newer generation of boys. As far as I am concerned, he should be followed around by a loud marching band trawling a large banner that reads "Pedophile" with his mugshot on it, just to make sure everyone knows.

I really wish people wouldn't condemn a talented person's films and TV shows or music just because they did something in their private life for i didn't stop liking and watching the works of those celebrities i mentioned especially Jones, Lee Lewis, Jackson or Polanski for i grew up with some their music, movies and TV shows.

Jones would made an excellent Burne Thompson for a live-action Ninja Turtles movie in the early 90s as i always had him in my 7 year old mind back then as casting for April's boss from the animated show.

I liked his appearance on Deadwood and he was also in Ravenous.

There's also the timeless rocker Jerry Lee Lewis who i still listen to his music and rather forget about his private life like marrying his 13 year old cousin cause i grew up with his music since i heard the song "Great Balls of Fire" when i saw Top Gun in theaters.

I'd rather forgot Pee-Wee Herman was caught jacking off in public and still enjoy his movies, TV shows and all that for i've been a PW fan since i watched his movies and TV shows as a kid.

He was really convincing in "Spreading Timmy". A very sad cumming of age story.

Oh yes he was fantastic in that movie as everyone was.

Anyone noticed his voice on the Batman TAS episode "Bullet for Bullock"?
