Probably when I was 2. I recently saw some local promos somebody uploaded on youtube. And it jogged my memory. My memory is weird it needs to be jogged by something like a video, picture (photograph or magazine, or song.

We had this great, weird rug. I can't describe it without it sounding hideous but I think it was really great.
I found out, it was called a "rya" rug. And then I could find a picture of it:

I was born in VERY early 1994 (in fact, 7 days into it), and I swear I can remember as early as 1996. I believe I had the chickenpox back then. That and watching LOTS of VHS tapes from the library.

I remember looking through the window at the hospital at my sister after she was born. That was in 1985 and I was 2. I can also remember my parents' dog they had at the time, which they had put down by 1986. Those are the earliest memories I have, and the only things I can recall from 1985.

I can remember quite a few things from 1986 and onward.

I really recall older female cousins of mine really liking just about any John Cusack flick. I remember this scene from Better Off Dead from when I was six years old freaking hilarious. The movie came out in "85" and I was in first grade when I saw it so I had to six. What was also funny were there work uniforms they were pig heads LOL.

I'll be turning 29 in November. My earliest memories are from 1987. I remember watching cartoons with my older brother.

I loved that movie, although I always have trouble remembering the name of it. The dancing burger scene was definitely among the best.

Also, for those of you who've never seen it, you may have seen one segment spoofed on family guy & the like. If you've ever seen a spoof of the scene where they pull up to a traffic light & 2 asian guys want to race them & wondered where that was from, it's from this movie.

This is the first time I've ever heard of this movie, time to go find a copy, and I've got a good idea where it might be!

EDIT: Well, I found it, just not on the usual place I look.

I was potty trained very early. I remember using this 70s yellow port-o-potty I had in the living room. I remember playing with my brother and stopping to use it one morning like it was nothing lol. I remember that Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids was on TV in the background, so it must have been on a Saturday.

I had this thing about cats for short while. My mom says that they used to get on my windowsill and cry late at night though I don't remember that. Well when ever I would see a cat on TV I would get upset, though oddly Morris the cat on the 9 Lives cat food commercial never bothered me. The cat at the end of The Bob Newhart show and Mary Tyler Moore did however. I remember laying in bed watching TV with my mom and waking her up just as she dosed off saying "mommy....mommy...a kitty cat....a kitty cat" in a crying voice. I was probably 2 years old.

Speaking of TV getting me upset and BTW I really wasn't a cry baby kid.......

This Calgon commercial had the same effect. It must have been either the baby crying or the woman freaking out, but when ever it would come on I would get upset. Again I was really young, probably 2 or under.

Everyone is spot on about the moving thing. My mother moved to San Antonio in the summer of "84" when I was about to turn four, so my most earliest memories are from when I was four and five. Mostley of when I started kindergarden in "85". I even recall the teachers name and have A clear image in my head of what the class room looked like, that usually freaks my mother out when I talk about that. Even some of the funny things that she did as rewards. I don't know if Burger King still does this but, remember the paper crowns? If they still have them I haven't seen them, she took one of those deocrated it and I guess if you did well all week she would allow you to wear the crown on friday as bragging rights LOL.

YEA I DID WELL ALL WEEK AND WHAT YOUR STUPID LOL! ! !
Oh yeah I remember those paper crowns from Burger King. The last time I had worn one of those was back in 2000 when they had the Rugrats in Paris cross promotion.

I born in September 1994 but,the farthest I can remember was 1996-1997.I don't remember anything before that, not a thing.I spent my first three years of existence in Cincinnati(where I was born)until my family moved to Atlanta in August 1996 just right after the Olympic Games ended. As for the stuff I remember it's just the typical childhood.(First Day of School,Holidays,Birthday Parties,Nostalgic Cartoons,Playing in the Playground/Backyard...)
