I always wanted to eat the same food that Friar Tuck did in the opening & closing sequences of "Rocket Robin Hood".

Pinwheel, about that Halloween Episode of The Simpsons you were mentioning, those weren't hamburgers they served the kids; they were Sloppy Jimbos.

Chokey (or Chewey, as it was later called) Chicken (Rocko's Modern Life) - What can I say? I am a Chicken guy.

Not only did the food in the Flintstones look good, the portion sizes were prehistoric!

This might sound crazy but when I was a kid the food on the cartoons always looked really appetizing, I mean like REALLY weirdly tasty, like non-imaginable. I don't know why but If I could have had a slice of the ninja turtles pizza I would have freaked. Ya know that yellow circle that when they would scarf down it wouldn't even make an eating noise effect but instead a squishy sound effect as though it was somebody stepping on gum.

    Some other examples are:

-Blue goop that was in the MMPR episode "Zack's Birthday"

-Scooby Doo food! anytime I would watch Scooby and Shaggy scarf down a big sandwich or something I would get soooo hungry!

-Krusty Burgers!!! The simpsons! dunno why but especialy the halloween episode where the school cafeteria grinds up students into hamburgers.

-Tiny Toons summer vacation sandwiches that plucky and hampton eat.

I was just wondering if it was only me being weird....

Did anyone else find food in cartoons appetizing? Also, if you can remember, what were some of those foods? thanks

There was one episode of Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers where Monty made his famous cheese chowder. I don't know if I was just hungry at the moment but that cheese chowder looked mighty delicious.

I forgot about those! For some reason any cartoon with chicken looked great!

Also, everybody I forgot about this one and it's so true if you have never seen:

"Mickey And The Beanstalk" Go watch it on youtube now, that will make you hungrier than any other cartoon in the world, seriously it will just go see.

I'm watching it now just because I havn't seen it in a while lol

The Pizza from the Ninja Turtles cartoon, the Reptar cereal from Rugrats, I don't remember many cartoons having food in them but then again I didn't watch much TV growing up. It kind of got boring after we got our cable cut.

He actually gets them in the closing theme, whereas a waitress comes up to get his order, the ribs are so big they tip the Flintstones' family car over.

What a fun thought! I would LOVE to eat the pizza that Charlie brings the puppies in All Dogs Go to Heaven!! Mmmm!! Or the feast they eat in the castle in Sword in the Stone!! Or Alice's treats, minus the whole growing/shrinking side effects!!
