Thread: What was the last item you purchased on eBay?

Self explanatory thread. If you feel like it, post a link to the last item you bought, or if you can't remember the last item you bought, post to an item you are bidding on now. A short description of the item you bought and why you wanted it would be cool too.

I'm sure it will be interesting to see what everyone is buying and what different types of items you collect.

If you've read any of my previous posts, the item I last purchased isn't much of a surprise:

A lot of three 1989 SMB Applause pvc figures. I only needed the pose where Mario is holding a hammer so I could complete this collection. From personal experience, that figure is pretty hard to track down.

    Post away!

That's a sweet lot of Mario PVC you have there. I stumble across a few of those myself, last summer during a yard sale. I'm pretty sure I bought them, I'd have to dig in last summer's accumulation, err, I mean, treasures....to find out

The last thing I recently bought on Ebay is a Coleco AMAZE-A-TRON boxed in the bilinigual Canadian packaging.
It is one of those "Hard to get but not valuable" collectible...

    Peace,
    Andre

last item i bought on ebay was season 1 part 1 of the g.i. joe series. i found it on there for about 50 bucks, 40 dollars cheaper than what amazon was asking, and i got it new in original packaging. i love the old g.i. joe series and am now on a quest to find the other g.i. joe cartoon dvds relatively cheaply.

some really out there stuff we're buying huh?

This might be a dumb question, but what is the Amaze-a-tron?
I've never seen one and I'd like to know more about it.

Also, I just watched the ghost in the shell movie and really liked it!

Don't wanna let this thread take a death dive to page 2, so here's what arrived in the mail from the eBay fairy for me today:

I also got two more DVDs; 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians' and 'Hulk Hogan: Santa with Muscles', but the seller has huge pictures on his auction pages, so I won't bother posting those in consideration of any dial-uppers.

    Oh, and these babies:

I paid quite a bit for these, but it was worth it for the Rufio. It was my most desired toy as a kid, but I could never find it. My friend Brad got it while away on vacation, and I was so jealous. I've got it now though, and it only took 15 years!

Almost got the whole set of the Hook figures now, but I've accumulated three freakin' Thud Butts. Three! I might open one just for the hell of it.

    Hey Christopher,

The Amaze-A-tron is an electronic "strategy" hand held game, invented by Ralph Baer and produced by Coleco.
Ralph Baer is also the creator of the Worldwide known SIMON and he also supervised the creation of early video game consoles such as ODYSSEY.

You can learn more about this pioneer by checking his website:

Last E-Bay purchase was a while ago. It was a 1979 One Ounce Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin. Bought it because I wanted to get a one ounce gold coin and finally had enough money to pick one up.

I just purchased a 2004 Topps Traded/Update Complete Set. There's still a few things I need to finish my baseball card collection, and although I took a lengthy break from any purchases, the bonus I received from work was substantial enough to let me finish things up. I just need to get the 2001 and 2002 Traded Sets, and finish up my Bonds, McGwire, and Sosa HR sets from the 1999 and 2002 Topps Base Sets.
