That disgusting sour Skittles commercial...I'm pretty sure you know the one... Made me lactose intolerant first time I saw it...

I know what you mean...that commercial makes me VERY wary about drinking milk...

Also...I managed to find a pic of that creepy alien from the Star Trek credits...

    Bask in its creepiness.

(If somebody's already posted this pic then I'm sorry I honestly forget where I got it from. It was just lying around in my files...)

He he... What's up with all these scary logos?

I don't know. I remember there was someone I knew on a message board I used to go to who was TERRIFIED of the 1971 PBS logo. At first I thought he was crazy, but some other people said it creeped them out as kids, too. So later I found out about the Closing Logo Group and that one site with the logo descriptions and stuff, It used to be called something else but now it's called KRS logos. I still think being scared of a corprate logo is kind of odd, but then again I was sort of freaked out by the HBO Feature Presentation logo in my younger days (the one with the huge space station), so I understand.

FranklinDisco had this video of a long forgotten label called 20th Century-Fox Records. It had this scary logo used for the movie open as well as the scary TV logo closing theme. You might see this pic along with the song by the Triple S Connection with their version of "My Cherie Amour". That label that everyone creeps out when you're kids.

Sadly, the 20th Century-Fox label ended around 1981 when Casablanca took over. Here it is.

I found this pic somewhere from my DVD "The Complete Pluto - Vol. 1", I found this cartoon "T-Bone for Two" and the intro at the very beginning might scare you to death. This should bring back those horrified memories of watching old Disney cartoons, including my favorite character, Pluto. This is a rare headshot taken from the opening to the short "T-Bone for Two". This was before "Star Trek" had the end credits where the alien's head was shown towards the end of the credits. That was also scary, but here it is.

Holy shit that's a creepy picture of Pluto. Those eyes...

Now that I think of it, I do vaguely recall being disturbed by a similar image of Donald Duck.

And is it just me, or does anyone else get shivers when sometimes watching old cartoons from the 1930s or early 40s? Late 40s and 50s shorts (particularly Warner Brothers) are great, but some of those older ones sometimes give me the willies.

I know that, I also found another pic from one of the DVD volumes of "The Complete Pluto", it has another variation of a headshot as shown at the very beginning of a cartoon. That might be a little scarier than the first one if you've seen the Disney cartoons featuring my favorite character. This is a lot similar to the one from "Star Trek" at the final end credits where they showed an alien's head shown. This is a lot more creepier than ever. Brace yourself

I dunno, that last one just seems more like regular old Pluto to me. The eyes there aren't nearly as big, scary, and disturbing.

I think that the second pluto is adorable, heh. However, the first one weirds me out a little bit...

Lol if you are afraid, tell someone to pull out all the a/v cords when the logo appears, LOL.

The HBO Independent Productions logo always give me the creeps! It's even impossible for me to even watch the Martin outro anymore, even to this day. Because I'd do either of the following things

Run to the bathroom, close the doors, and cover my ears as tight as possible! (I did that a lot as a little kid, I believe.)
Or when I have the remote, Change the Channel!

That logo even went as far as putting that logo before the WWE Smackdown intro, when UPN showed Martin re-runs on Thursdays at 7:30 in the early 2000's and the CW11 NY shows Everybody Loves Raymond on Friday at 7:30!

    Here's the logo!

They showed this segment on Sesame Street when I was little, with a hot iron I-beam for the letter "I"...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFZurjkjs6M

And it scared me so bad, that for a while I kept my finger over the power button on the TV just in case it came on again, hahaha. I wonder who the genius was who put menacing music and burning metal on Sesame Street thinking that it wouldn't send children running for the hills?

    ---

And pretty much the whole of The Brave Little Toaster, especially this scene where the air conditioner freaks out and kills itself...

"IT'S MY FUNCTION!!!!!" I had to run out of the room and hide in my parents' room until it was over.

I found this clip courtesy of YT's member "discorecords" that he discovered a swirl vinyl featuring Chic's "Le Freak". You might find a vinyl pic on Ebay or something else that you might a swirl copy of "Le Freak". This will give you the creeps. Here it is.

That's got to be one of the scariest animated movie moments for me, definately. I was watching that movie on Toon Disney the other day, and that scene STILL gives me the heebie-jeebies. I always used to get scared when they showed the air conditioner when he was 'dead'. It always just looked so freaky to me.

Here is the most scariest part of them all. It's the beginnig to a WB short "The Wabbit Who Came to Dinner" in very poor quality print. This was not the best print IMO, but it does have the film countdown. I was scared of the film countdowns after all these years. It was on one of the PD VHS tape.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1fD3ySN9pY

This is the entire short that is not in good quality called "Lulu's Birthday Party", but it's a bad print, but the ending to this short was creepy where they put a WB end title after the closing of a Little Lulu short "Lulu's Birthday Party". That gives you the creeps.

I remember seeing this one since I was a kid, but it gives me the creeps. It was the Phoenix Films logo from the 1970's, and it was shown at the beginning of every educational film from the late 70's and the early 80's. I was scared of this logo, because of the flames and falling letters came down to make that Phoenix Films logo looked creepy. Here it is.

not specifically me, but my little nephew Tyler got scared when I was watching The Colbert Report. It was the intro, and right after it says the show's title on the screen, an eagle swooped in to the screen and he ran up the stairs, afraid that the eagle would eat him. Now he runs whenever the Report is on.
