    Ball gag
    Duct tape
    Hydrogen Peroxide
    Plastic bags

    ...management should be ready.

Rite Aid should offer him a job. Simple as that.

It depends on the policy. Most places of employment forbid their employees from posessing a weapon. I think Walgreens could have looked the other way on this and firing him will cost them a lot of money. So glad I do my business at CVS.

BTW doing what they were supposed to do get store clerks killed all the time. We will never know what could have happened if he didn't have his gun.

Sounds much like that one guy who worked for Home Depot, stopped a robbery, and then was fired.

    this is pretty dumb, really.

also, lol detroit... can't blame him for shooting in self-defense, really. and yes, I'll most likely take my business elsewhere.

You'd have to be a real douche to fire someone that stood up for themselves and the other people in the store like this. I think a rule that you can't have a gun in a particular place is really ridiculous. If you have a permit (supposedly) that says that you can carry a gun, you should be able to carry it everywhere. In my eye, guns are for cowards, but this guy should be commended for potentially saving peoples' lives.

What is the pharmacist shoots and misses the robber and hits one of the customers? Would you still think that he had done the right thing?

I doubt he is really allowed to have a gun on him at work. I am sure that Walgreens has a policy against allowing any employees to have guns while at work. Even if he has a license to carry, if the place of employment says no then he can be fired for not following the policy.

Guns are for cowards??? Ok Rambo what do you do when someone breaks into your house and THEY have a gun? Guns are for protection in a life threatening situation.

If you're going to use a gun for home protection, it doesn't take any real skill to use. You point and shoot. Swords on the other hand, take real skill to use.

Swords are one thing. But a bow and arrow...now there's skill.

You prove you know nothing about guns. Thank you for giving such an uninformed answer... Do you have any idea how many people have to practice to effectively use a hand gun? Oh wait obviously not...
