Not that it matters because tv shows aren't as good as they are anyway and they would suck regardless but why doesn't tv shows make halloween episodes every year like they use to?

like roseanne has alot and home improvement have alot and the simpsons have alot

    why?

is it because nobody likes to be fun anymore? new halloween sucks i want a time machine

Yeah, I am a fan of Halloween specials. The Simpsons are probably the most well known for them, but if I remember correctly, Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland show each did one last year.

South Park does them every now and again too but the last time we got one from them it was "Hell on Earth 2006" back in season 10 (So like 5 years ago).

They don't make Halloween specials anymore because sitcoms now are not any fun. They are either trying to be smart or spend the entire show just talking about sex and make innuendos. They stopped being funny and started taking themselves to seriously.

Yeah, they don't make Halloween specials like they used to. I loved the Married...with Children specials. Like when Al meets Death or when he and his family goes to Hell with Robert Englund.

But I guess ether people aren't as excited about Halloween as they used to be or they just lack imagination and a sense for the supernatural.

Maybe because there are hardly any sitcoms on tv?

This would be the reason. There are a lot of dramas and other genres that still have Halloween episodes, but so many are hesitant to put on programming opposite football. TV seasons are shaky now- they have 3 weeks worth of episodes, go on hiatus for another 3 weeks, come back for a bit, go on Holiday hiatus... it just makes no sense anymore.

Yeah. Community, Glee, and Raising Hope. I'm pretty sure The Office and Parks & Rec also have in the past year or two. I can't think of any other sitcoms I watch but clearly there are some with halloween episodes out there. Maybe CBS and ABC don't have any because they are boring channels with crappy lame shows.

Check out the Psych episode "Tuesday the 17th." It wasn't a Halloween episode, but its a good episode for the Halloween season.

Man, I used to love halloween episodes and christmas specials. It is a shame they aren't around as much. Everyone is right...sitcoms just aren't what they used to be. TGIF Halloween....the things we took for granted....
