For those of you who have VH1 Classic, between July 30 and now, they are celebrating MTV's 30th birthday by doing mainly classic programming that we used to know of MTV.

One of these hours is devoted to the first full hour of MTV's existence on August 1, 1981. Original commercials from '81 and technical difficulties included.

VH1 Classic is celebrating 30 years of MTV? It doesn't make any sense.

Um...why? Why in the world is VH1 Classic celebrating this and not MTV? That's sad that VH1 Classic is more into acknowledging that MTV is supposed to be Music Television than MTV is. -_-

    Doesnt it?

I watched that first full hour of MTV programming. It was hilarious that they actually played the old commercials and shit, I felt like I was watching it back in '81 (I wasnt even alive in '81).

That's nothing. I've heard of a certain Comic Book Store that has a picture of Sean Connery autographed by Roger Moore.
Garfield: "My car is so old, that it's insured against theft, flood, fire and dinosaur stampedes!"

Garfield: "The local bus transit is doing their part to help with the weight loss program: each year, they stop further and further away from the curb!
