You may have heard certain celebrities whose children have names such as:

Kal-El Coppola (son of Nicolas Cage and Alice Kim)
Audio Science Clayton (son of Shannyn Sossamon and Dallas Clayton)
Apple Blythe Alison Martin (daughter of Coldplay singer Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow)

But ... legendary actor Don Adams (1923 - 2005), best known as Agent 86 on Get Smart! (1965 - 1970) named one of his daughters Beige Dawn. You know, the one who he sired with Judy Luciano on June 6, 1979.

How many other legendary actors, actresses and musicians gave their sons and daughters such crazy names in the 1970s and 1980s?

Another prime example is musician Frank Zappa (1940 - 1993), who has two sons named Dweezil (b. 9-5-69) and Ahmet Emuukha Rodan (b. 5-15-74) and two daughters named Moon Unit (b. 9-28-67) and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen (b. 7-30-79).

Jason Lee (actor and professional skateboarder) has a son named Pilot Inspektor, born in 2003. And Penn Jillette (magician who is the verbal half of Penn and Teller, and was the voice of Comedy Central in its early years) has a daughter named Moxie Crimefighter, born in 2004.

Trumpet legend Don Cherry (1936-1995) named his son Eagle Eye, after the time when he first saw his father with one eye open, on May 7, 1971. And yes, that's the same Eagle Eye Cherry who sang "Save Tonight".

My friend's middle name is Arwen. I think that's really pretty, honestly.

My boyfriend told me that if he was a girl, his father was going to name him Porsche Delorean.... because of his Muscle Car obsession.... XD
thank the gods he was a Christopher Brandon instead, right?!

My son is named Simon Charles... and a lot of people ask me if I named him after Simon Cowell. NO I DID NOT lol. I have always just plain liked the name since I was a child. lol.
Had he been a girl, I was gonna fight my boyfriend tooth and nail to name "her" Jade Marilyn, and yes, like Marilyn Manson. lol...
I had made the joke with Chris while I was pregnant, that I wanted to name "her" Drusilla (we are both big Buffy fans, and Dru and Spike are my favorite characters). I was JOKING and he actually LIKED the name choice.... me and my big mouth lol.

He also wanted to name "her" Italia Rose.... rose is one thing but... Italia?! Poor kid would have been mocked to the extreme.
Simon is bad enough lol but I just couldn't help myself. At least it's fitting once you meet the lil man.

Also my friend told me that her uncle and aunt named their youngest kid Toto, like from Wizard of Oz. That's just sad in my opinion... lol. Out of all those names and they picked THE DOG! XD
