For the first time ever, a Pixar film has received complete negative reviews.

I figured it'd happen eventually... and I figured that it would be with Cars, too, considering how mixed the reviews for the first one were. I still wanna see it, though. I liked the first and I can't imagine it being on that much different of a level.

I enjoyed Cars. Although to be honest, you seen one Pixar movie you've essentially seen them all. Always a plot based on characters who were once doing great, then sort of fell away.

It doesn't really surprise me seeing that most people consider the first "Cars" to be Pixar's worst movie (although enjoyed it). I found it odd that they would make a sequel to their least popular movie.

I knew it would happen someday. As much as I like Pixar, I didn't think that every movie that they're going to make in history no matter how good their movies were in the past. Because with every good movie company that has a solid library, there's bound to be some rotten apple in the bunch, and Cars 2 just might be one of them.

I'm not much for the work of Daniel Lawrence "Larry The Cable Guy" Whitney, and they say that this movie centers primarily around the character of Mater. I think the main flaw of the "Cars" movies, as well as many other animated movies from various studios (not just Pixar), is that they put major stars into most every role, including those with only one or two lines. People like Rob Paulsen and Tress MacNeille may be major stars in television voice-overs, but they're relegated to the sidelines in animated movies. I wish they could be accorded some theatrical respect...

My problem with "Cars" is very basic, the headlights should be the eyes:

Yet it will take Best Animated Picture at the Oscars. Because Pixar has it rigged that it always wins. And some overlooked, more deserving animated picture will lose.

No, he lost. Chick won the race adn Lighting came in last as he stopped to push the champ through the finish line so he could finish his last race. he then got offered the sponson ships but turned them down to stick with his old sponsors and everyone loved him even more for his show of respect.

When I first heard that Cars 2 was going to be coming out I was disappointed because I hated the first one and I know a lot of people who hated it too. It was the black sheep of the family, I think the main reason they went for it was because the last 3 Pixar films have been emotional. Wall-E, Up and Toy Story 3 so I think they wanted to bring parents in with there children without the parents having to bring tissues. I don't like the trend that is going on either they are bringing out sequels that's not in the Pixar tradition so lets just hope they don't fuck up on Monsters University

As bad as the reviews are, this movie still made it to number one at the box office.
