I remember Dad waking me up about 2 in the morning. It had snowed pretty good and he took me out into the mountains driving in it. He only done it once and anytime it snowed I always wished he would take me for another ride in it.

Man, I have so many memories that I wouldnt know where to start. Some of my favorite ones are having movie night and eating tons of junk food with them and of course the holidays. My father passed away when I was 14 so its bittersweet remembering things about the past/my parents. I really had a great childhood.

dad: fishing, the movies, summers sitting in the living room watching USA's primetime commedy mornings, and my first Chargers game! i still remember dad and i would try and leave before the game ended, because i was scared of the fireworks.... yeah, yeah, i know. but with me being blind, i had no idea when the fireworks would be coming up, and that would totally be unexpected. i'm talking those 24-inch/artillery shells/salutes, (for those pyros out there). i'm use to it now. same for the padre's.
mom: movie night, playing on the SNES, piano lessons, going to work, and driving to Los Angeles in her chevy. i have to admit, some games on snes, mom sucked! i kept beating her tale like a butt whooping. but games like sports or racing, she was OK.
grandma: her coming to San Diego, meeting me at the greyhound bus stop to get to L.A, disneyland trips with my cousin once a month. (yes, we did go to disney every once or twice a month, because she got paid so much. she's an RN.), out-of-state trips to Las Vegas, or Gulfport, MS. (gulfport is near the border to New Orleans, LA.), it used to be so much fun to go to before catrina hit. she used to get a flight that either stopped at either Dallas, Amarillo, San Antonio, Houston, Beaumont, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, or New Orleans. if it was a city in the TX area, we'd transfer planes to Gulfport. not before staying the weekend in the city we stopped at. i was lucky enough to stop by astroworld before it closed, 6 flags over texas, 6 flags San Antonio, 6 flags New Orleans. but during the mississippi trips, my granny used to take us on a driving trip to other states. she has people over other parts of mississippi and other states. the first stop would always be in central mis, (Jackson), and she'd either take us to Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Montgomery, or Birmingham, AL, very rare she'll do Mobile, if she did, she'll either drive us to Fort Walton Beach, FL, or go the extra mile and head to Orlando! when we did that, first place would be always disneyworld! in bama, we did southern adventures. or go the other way from central MS, and hit memphis, TN. we'd always spend the weekend in Nashville or Cookville, rarely a trip to knoxville, on occasion, we'd do dollywood, and we went to opryland in Nashville. she'd also take the Kentucky border in Union City, and drive us to Louisville. we have fun at Kentucky kingdom, KY Kingdom as i called it. or, We'd go through Chatanuga, to get to Georgia. she had people in Atlanta and Savannah. some near Port Royal, Sumter, and Columbia areas of South Carolina. i still have an uncle that lives in Conway, SC, so he's near Myrtle Beach.

as far as granny goes, it was twice, but in 1997 and 1999, we went through the memphis area, and went towards Arkansas. We stayed in Little Rock, and drove to Hot Springs, to get to Magic Springs. she also took us around Fayetteville and Jonesboro, and Fort Smith. the last time we did it, We got way lost, we were out near West Plains, Missouri. so..... we decided to take the bus to Saint Louis. they towed the car back to MS, and gave us passes for bus travel. we did Saint Louis, and Kansas City. and they gave us a free flight back to gulfport, with our rental car still waiting! she actually wants to take me and a few family members around the US during next summer. she wants to take me to Denver, Grand Junction, Tacoma, Philadelphia, and Boston.
