    For some, 2010 promises a new decade...others, it's 2011.

But to me, the last two years sucked major ass! Sure, 2010 did make me leave my nest and it gave me some freedom, but money was VERY tight this year and my dog died this month, so yeah...2010 has been the worst year ever...so far.

And like last year...no escape from the real world either!

Dude. A number change on the calendar doesn't mean glad tidings. 2010,2011,1993,4569...

    It's all the same.

This year has been pretty bad for me too, since our family cat died. I'm hoping that next year will be better.

To me, a year cannot be called bad or good judged by bad things that happened to me personally. I judge a year by pop culture. How many good movies and video games came out and how many good ones were announced. That's how I judge whether the year was good or not. I say 2010 was a good year. 2011 will be better.

There were a few good moments like seeing Iggy Pop and the Stooges live but overall this wasn't a good year for me and I'm glad to see it go.

Ours too. I like to think he's in a deep sleep though.

Anyway, this year was a total crapfest. A few great times here and there, but overall it was frustrating and depressing. I'm hoping for the best of 2011. I'm trying to keep a promise and achieve at least three major things *fingers crossed*.

    GO AWAY 2010!

    I have Three as well...

    1) Get approved for SSI/SSDI for extra cash for...
    2) A car, because I'm not missing out on events like I did two years ago
    3) Ms. Right, so one day she can become Mrs. Cleveland!

2010 was one of the most miserable years I ever had. I have not been having a good time at my workplace, Barkuma. Some people were handicapped and some were hyperactive and even a few turned everything 'upside-down'.
BTW, my mother should be treating me as an actual grown-up.

    Long live 2010!

Gee, I wonder if 2011 will bring more earthquakes, more volcano eruptions, and more oil spills

What are your predictions for next year?

    For a start, here's my top 5:
    1. Red Rooster declares bankruptcy
    2. NYC's Freedom Tower nears completion
    3. 2 seater Terrafugia Transition 'flying car' goes on sale in the USA
    4. Nintendo 3DS released
    5. 100th birthday of the Reverend Wilbert Awdry

I'm honestly perplexed at your guys optimism. When 2011 hits, you think all your problems will go away and it will be sunny pastures from here on out? Heck, sounds good to me!

That's no prediction about the release of Nintendo 3DS...that's a fact!

I've written predictions in a different thread here, but I forget. Here goes:

1)Bob Barker and/or Adam West will pass on between May and November. (I hope I'm wrong on this one...)
    2)Another terrorist attack will occur.
3)Electric cars will (hopefully) be for sale.
4)Barack Obama will more than likely receive some sort of Nobel Peace Prize again.
5)People will prepare themselves and start building spaceships for the upcoming 2012 phenomenon.
