I seriously cannot wait for this game. From the gameplay I have seen of it, it looks faithful to the original but offering enough to be a new game and not just rehash, I hope.

I remember renting the first Donkey Kong Country game and not leaving my room all weekend till I beat in on Sunday before I had to take it back.

Nah, not at all. I play Mario Kart and Smash (as well as Wario Ware and a few others) when I have people over. But after I beat New S Mario Wii and Galaxy 2 my Wii started collecting dust again. I love Nintendo, but I hope that in their next sytem they make online/online community better. My friends and I all meet up on Xbox Live (though we do all have Wiis)...

I'm really looking forward to this game. This is probably going on my Christmas wish list since I've been waiting for this game to come out for a long time.

Not really. I found the original games to be highly overrated.

No, I'll just stick with playing DKC on SNES.

Yes, I am really looking forward to it. I've been enjoying this "retro revival" we've been having in gaming over the last few years. I hope it keeps going.

This was one of my most anticipated games of all time and I don't even own a Wii. The DKC series is probably my favorite game series ever. I'm buying a Wii just for this game (I had a Wii but sold it because it had no good games).

Those as well as Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros. Brawl, Punch-Out!!, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, Red Steel 2, GoldenEye 007. I think the PS3 and 360 have better game libraries but the Wii certainly has plenty of good games as well.

I got a Wii the day it came out (Camped out for 8 hours in the freezing cold) and had it for two years before selling it. The only games I actually played were Zelda and Resident Evil 4. I think I sold it around the time Mario Galaxy 1 came out.

I took advantage of the recent "extra store credit for x amount of games" deal at Gamestop and picked this baby up. Holy crap is this game awesome! It was a nostalgia trip, and something new at the same time.

Yes I am looking forward to it. Loved the original Donkey Kong Country on SNES, though couldn't get into Donkey Kong 64. Time to check out this upgrade.

Put it on my Christmas list.

Sounds good, have to say I'm really enjoying these retro revivals. GoldenEye was a nice trip back down memory lane with a nice mix of new and old and I'm glad to hear it seems DKC: Returns is the same. I'll hopefully be getting it on or not too long after Christmas.
